Story Telling and Story Writing with the Ipads

Today the students were given the opportunity to create stories of their own. The class together first brainstormed ideas of what their stories could be about including the characters, setting, problem and solution. Once they were ready, they were given ipads to record themselves telling their stories aloud. Then they took their own personal videos back to their desks and with headphones, they listened to their stories and wrote them down. This is a great activity to do which helps the children allow their free creativity in story ideas not be hindered by their writing skills. The children had a great time doing this activity and were very proud of their stories.
