This week has been packed with lots going on!

We started the week off with a dance class which will happen every Monday morning for the next four weeks. Our dance instructor, Miss Monique, had the children explore different movements with their bodies. The students had a great time and they are looking forward to their next class with her.

Our newspaper article rough copies are now done and the students are going to use the next couple of Computer classes to type them out and use graphics to make their articles really pop! We are all looking forward to sharing our newspaper articles with the class.

We finished our classic read aloud of "Anne of Green Gables" by Canadian author Lucy Maude Montgomery. The children loved the story, I mean loved! I was so thrilled! They are already asking me if we can read the sequel called "Anne of Avonlea". Next week we'll be watching the movie of Anne of Green Gables and do some comparisons on how the movie and book are the same and different.

In Math, the students this week have finished their Fractions Unit. The children needed to do a retest on Fractions after a bit more review since it is a challenging unit. Be on the look out for those tests coming home next week for you to sign them and return them back to me. Thank you.

Finally, just a quick reminder that the date for our trip to Pioneer Village is going to come quick (May 7)--please sign your child's permission form and return it as soon as you are able.

Have a great weekend!
