Our class continues to work on learning our multiplication facts this week. I've attached some multiplication songs that I hope the students will enjoy watching. The children can practice their times tables as they sing along. Enjoy!

We have had some interesting discussions about Haiti and the tragedy that has happened there. Our class in first term learned about natural disasters and so the students could understand the impact an earthquake could make. I have attached educational videos of what an earthquake is and what the country of Haiti was like prior to the earthquake. Our class was able to see young Haitian children in normal every day situations which allowed them to reflect on how they are very much like us here in Canada. The video allowed the students to empathize and sympathize all the more as they watched the cute babies and small children playing prior to the devastation.

Thank you to all parents that returned back the Computer Survey I sent home. If you have not sent it back in, it would be greatly appreciated if you could do so. Thank you for your support. I will keep you all posted on what we plan to do concerning the online program for the children.

Please continue to remind your children to be responsible with doing their homework each night. I would appreciate if you would initial in their agendas and sign their Reading Records. Thank you!
