Our class is learning about how to write a letter and the parts of a letter. The children had an opportunity to walk to the mailbox to deliver a letter too! On our walk to the mailbox, we came across our friendly mail carrier Mr. Singh. He was kind to stop and talk with us, show us the inside of his mail truck and also share his experiences as a mail carrier. The children were so excited and enjoyed learning from the walk and from our guest speaker! The students will now create a letter and they will choose a teacher at Valleyfield that they would like to write to. We hope the teachers will write back as well! So fun!
