Happy January!

Happy New Year! We are back in full swing and the children are working away on so much! The children have been practicing their writing skills by creating letters that they will be sending to our Valleyfield teachers! They have worked hard on them and we look forward to receiving letters back from our valuable teachers! Also, the children have been learning about fiction and non fiction texts. It was exciting for them to do their very first project! For this project, they had to choose a winter animal and with the books I brought from the local library, they researched and answered questions about the animals! They will now work on preparing a board to present this information to our class! We are working on our addition and subtraction facts too in Math and also learning about two and three dimensional shapes and solids! It's been a great school year so far, I can't believe we're already half way through! Please parents, be sure your parents are dressed for the weather and have them reading each night! Reading is so important!! Thank you for your support! :)
