Our Science creations! Part 1

In Science, we watched the movie The Lorax and discussed the effects of cutting down all the trees and what that would do to the environment and life here on earth. The children then discussed how the 'Once-ler' in the movie created a machine/tool that would be used to cut down more than one tree at a time. The children were then given the challenge to think of how to create a machine/tool that would either water more than one plant at a time OR plant more than one seed at a time. The students sketched out their ideas and then spent time creating! They were great scientists and came up with some great inventions! Pictures to follow in next blog entry!
