Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is our first long weekend since starting Grade One and there's so much to be thankful for! Through stories and free writing, the students have been thinking about what they are thankful for and why we are so blessed with so much here in Canada! We had good discussions on what other children are like around the world and what they have or don't have compared to us. It has been a good reminder to us to help out at home and to tell our families how much we love them. I am also so thankful for the parents support so far this year. I am blessed to have such a great job of teaching your children and watching them grow and master their reading and writing skills. I wish all the families a wonderful long weekend and a very Happy Thanksgiving!:)
