What are we learning in class??

This past week, we have continued to work on letter sounds, printing, reading strategies and word work. We have also started our Reading Response booklets. These books are great for children to write a short response to a book that we have read as a class. This helps children with their comprehension as well as reflecting on the text and making connections to themselves. We have now also started a new Math unit which is Time, Temperature and Money. Students are reminded and encouraged to read, read, read at home! It is the best thing they can do to help them excel in all the other curriculum areas!
