Wow, I can't believe that we have one last week of school left to go! It is with mixed feelings that we begin the countdown to the end of the school year. I have had such a wonderful year with all your children! This week we will be finishing off our mystery stories in Language and also ending our Science units which were Animal Life Cycles (Grade 2's) and Plants/Soils (Grade 3's). Next week we will have an end of the year party to celebrate a great year and go out with some fun! Our class has decided to do a beach/Hawaii theme party for the last day of school (June 27th). The students will come in dressed in beach clothing and we will have fun doing some beach activities inside our classroom! It would be great if students could bring in a non-messy, finger snack that we could enjoy with the class. I would appreciate your help in doing this. Some snack ideas might be crackers, cheese, fruit, mini sandwiches, and beach-themed snacks or treats. Thank you so much!
