It has been so great getting a chance to do field trips this month! Last week, our Grade 3's got a chance to visit the Lakeshore Arboretum to learn of plants and soils. Along with learning about this science unit, they had an opportunity to participate in some aboriginal games which was enjoyed by all especially on a warm, sunny afternoon! Tomorrow, our Grade 2's will be heading downtown to the Harbourfront to do some of their own exploring and discovering! I know they will have a great time with the other classes they are going with. On June 12th, BOTH grades will be going to the Black Creek Pioneer Village! The Grade 3's finished their early settlers/pioneers unit and the Grade 2's learned about celebrations and traditions. This year end trip will be a great way to finish off our year together!
