Classroom Update!

April is poetry month and in our Grade Three class we will be exploring how to write a variety of different poetry styles. Also in Language, we will begin writing Mystery Stories. Our Grade Three class will have a Reading Club beginning on April 12th, a letter has been sent home about this Club. If you need more information about it, feel free to contact me at the school. In Math we continue to work on our unit of Fractions and we will also be working on Measurement. In Social Studies, we have begun learning about the Early Settlers of Canada and the Pioneers. A reminder that with the warmer weather, students should have a water bottle that they can leave at their desks in order to get needed drinks. The year seems to be flying by and we still have so much great learning to do! Please stay tuned for updates about EQAO and there will be a letter sent home with information and the EQAO dates.
