Class Update...

It's the love month! This month we'll be feeling the love with our Valentine's Day festivities along with learning about the history of Valentine's Day. In writing, the students continue to work on persuasive writing and we will begin our Fractured Fairy Tale unit in Narrative Writing. In Math we are completing our Multiplication and Division Unit and beginning to learn about Motion Geometry. Our Social Studies unit focuses on the Aboriginals and the different tribes and how they survived in their communities. A reminder to parents that children need to be reading every single night in order to help develop their reading skills.
Our Valentine's Day party will be on February 14th! Your child is asked to bring in something red for a treat to share with the class on that day! Remember it needs to be nut-free! I'm looking forward to a fun day celebrating the love day!
