Planting in Science

This Science unit in final term is focusing on Plants and Soil. The children had a chance to see germination in action as they planted bean seeds and watched them open and begin germinating. Today, the children had a chance to plant their very own soybean seed and a wheat seed. We have been learning about the value of wheat farming in Ontario and all the food made from wheat. The children have been really excited about their plants, so be sure to ask your child what they have been learning in Science!
