Aboriginals and Structures

In class this month we've started our new Social Studies and Science units. In Social Studies we are learning about the Aboriginals. The students are discovering the world of the First Nations and how they lived, what they ate and how they survived in the cold winters and living off of the land.
In Science, the students are learning about Structures and the stability that buildings/bridges need to be secure and strong. In the coming days we will be discussing how a house is build, why the foundation to a structure is very important and the team of professionals needed to create a structure.
